is it a stroud?

you want the smallest possible, stroud super comp (model number 400) or simpson skyjacker
beings it was on a pro street car, im assuming it would be one of the smaller models, but find out before you put it on your car.

yeah its a stroud. i was just wandering about how it mounts to the car. all the ones i have seen appear that the chute bolts right to the chute mount. were this one has the big spring that comes out the bottom. i dont see how it would bolt to like the kens kustom mount

Make a frame for it with tabs at each corner if that makes sense, similar to what is shown in your 2nd pictire.

and since they have the spring launcher, they do not have to stick out as far as the ones with the pilot chutes. just angle it up a bit. im trying to track down a picture of mine

the ones with the small helper chute need to be mounted a little further away from the car than these ones do.

i had this one mounted so the spring tube was about 1" away from the back of the car.
