what size slicks should i go with i have 24.5.
should i be okay or go down to 23 inch?

23 should be fine, a friends stroked lsv making around 250 run pretty well on 23" slicks

23's might make you shift to 5th gear and you dont want that.

how high are you reving

 

i would say 235whp will run low 12's if you can drive it.
which means you will be trapping at 115ish mph
if you rev higher than 8500ish with 23" tires and your trans it will be perfect.
if you dont rev past 8k then i would get 24.5"
sounds like 23's are best to me because if you making 235whp, your probably cammed and your reving it higher than 8k

 

anyone care to chime in for an SiR turbo same trans as the OP. reving to 8100 rpm I want to avoid 5th gear. would a 24 or 24.5 do the job?

 

24.5, you'll probably be trapping higher speeds than the OP. what's your car and turbo setup?
