Default Headwork/Flowbench #'s

hi all,

im a full time student and work so this is taking a while, this is my 2nd turbo build, ive been collecting parts for the current build for about 2 years now lol.

Anyway, When I get close to finishing the build in the rents garage il post up a thread with my build process as i hope to be a familiar car down at local tracks. Im going for about 600whp *for now . Chris @ xenocron is my tuner.

So I Just wanted to hear some of your thoughts on my head i just recieved back from Steve @ CCCylinderheads... I dont not know all too much about headflow and that sort so here is the flow sheet..

Spare build info...
84mm benson gsr block
Gsr head
Supertech valvetrain
Hta3082 which is my gt3076r tial .82 housing with a gt35r SIZED comp housing and billet wheel
*undecided on camshafts yet hope input can help

Thanks and i appreciate any input you can give me.

Im not sure but it looks like it gained alot of midrange helping the turbo to spool up faster

I think alot of it depends on what cams you are going to run...obviously, if you dont have 500 lift cams or higher, those numbers dont mean jack since you wouldnt be lifting the valve that high right

Im my opinion...flow bench numbers are just another number, its really all about port velocity and how it works or doesnt with your particular combination of parts.

With that said, I already have the midrange with the 30r turbine housing, this is the direction i was looking to go chris, but what dictates port velocity?
Could i potentially benefit using say the Pro 1s instead of the tuner 1s? With the high lift of the Pro 1s would I be hitting the "sweetspots spots" better?

With a smaller turbo, you are going to be happier with the Tuner 1s if you want to drive this as a street car...if you are looking for Peak HP and higher rpms...the PRO1s will do that granted you are throwing tons of boost at them and you dont have a restrictive exhaust manifold.

Looks good for turbo GSR head ...
