Default going to the track tomorrow..

any tips would be cool...so far my to do list tomorrow morning are..
-take out the spare, sub, jack, back seat, and other miscellaneous things
-deflate my tires to about 20-25psi when i get there
-avoid the water for burn out (running on street tires)

my motor is a stock 92 dx. i usually launch at 3500. is there a better rpm to launch at? when i launch there, i usually get little wheel spin and start to pick up. if you guys have any more tips, thatd be awesome! im planning to race my friend in his d15b sedan...and is it true to go on the 3rd amber?

If you smoke, then have one before you get to the line so you are a little more relaxed. Have a cold drink on hand, and most of all, HAVE FUN AND RELAX!!! The tree will take a couple of times for you to get used to if you haven't done it before, but trust me, just be sure take note everytime you run so you can better yourself the next time. Also, be sure to have all the right clothing so you can get to the line without a problem from the officials. No shorts and depending on the track have a long sleeve shirt on hand as well.

Most of all, just try to have a good time. If you have a bad run, learn from it. Just do the best you can.

Good luck against your friend. I hope you put the smack down!

Don't leave your car in the staging lanes and make people wait.
Watch what other people do and learn from them.
Have fun and beat the crap out of your car .

well, i went today and ran 3 times. i beat my friend in his d15b sedan all 3 times. my best slip..
r/t......589
60......2.784
330....7.580
1/8.....11.484
MPH....64.70
1000...14.846
1/4.....17.704
MPH....79.34
my worst slip was a 18.026@77.89mph with a 60' of 2.826 and 1/8 of 11.705@63.42mph and r/t of .321.
all in all, im happy i guess. i wasnt expecting rocket times, but atleast i beat my friend lol. my reaction times got better and better with each light. 1st run i had massive wheel hop. then i tried toning it down on the launch, and ended up bogging down the 2nd and 3rd run. next time i go, ill have 4 new tires, stage 1 clutch and exhaust..and less than 3/4 tank of gas lol.

oh yeah, i went to the weigh station and weighed in at 2160
