Default getting back at it for 2012

thought i'd post up some 2012 progress as i'm trying to get this thing dialed in. I finally have everything how I want it and the car is running great just need to dial in this short track to drop the et's.

some things changed up this year
PTE 66mm wastegate
c02 boost control on msd 7562
fresh PTE 6768
fresh dogbox rebuild
new competition clutch twin disc

Testing the other night at our local track. this was still on the hondata bbg on c02 no 7562 hooked up yet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3gGf...&feature=g-upl

put a little too much boost in first gear on this pass and had to let off to get it to stop. just trying different things to try and get it to 60' and 330' decent. 1.7 60' and 4.53 330'. not good but hoping to get it down soon.

Looks like you had too much air in the front tires. Air them down a bit so they have a chance to bite.

Good to see this car back. Always liked it.

Good luck this season! I wish I could have seen this thing run at the Columbus OH, IFO but I think you guys ran into some issues just before I got there.

Yeah air pressure was up a bit. 7.5psi it bogged on the pass before so I tried higher rpm/more boost and more tire psi and it was too much. It's hard to get these things out of the hole good every time I just need to find that sweet spot.

I have a few engine shots I'll try to post up tonight.

yeah i've been trying a lot of different parts/setups over the last few years. had a lot of issues but a lot of data to know what and what not to do. finally think i have it setup how i want it just needs some short track dialing in.

here's a bay shot

it's been a few high 9 sec passes but the short track isn't there. I know what it will do but getting it there has been my trouble. I should be at norwalk in a few weeks

Paul I have been meaning to ask, what exactly is that being turned on passenger side, almost looks like a nitrous bottle...

Co2 for boost control.

Do you have any hints on why the car is bogging badly off the line?

it's in the launch/boost leaving the line. i think i'm leaving on too much rpm and not enough boost up to it. got some tips from someone very helpfull to me on what to do next time out and i'm going to try that. vss jumps up to 40mph right off the leave and then falls back down so it's spinning right at first but not enough boost to keep the momentum going which is absolutely killing my short track times
