Default gapping spark plugs

My motor is a LS/VTEC with oversized ITR pistons .25 over, ported B16a head, and all the usual boltons. Compression about 11.5.

I just got my NGK BCPR7E-11 spark plugs, my questions is, how do I gap them and is it necessary for me to do so?

yeah sure is....some plugs come pre-gapped.....Im not too sure what your spec. would be but with a higher comp. I'd go with some where around .040". Most NA cars that roll off the assembly line are gapped around .044 that usually have 9.5:1 compression. You could gap you plugs with feeler gauges but if you go to a local parts store ask for a spark plug gapping tool..its just a circular piece of metal with a variable incline going around it to set your gap bigger or smaller...using feeler gauges is more accurate though in my opinion
