Default First time at the track

So first off, Hi I;m Karl. Been out of the car scene for a while and decided to get back in recently. Got a 93 CX with an H2B swap and went through it and added some parts. Installed a Skunk IM, TB, and a Highend header. Wanted to get a baseline so I took it to the local track (1/8). Downside, is that I found out when I got there that I couldn't run the 22x9x13's I got because my exhaust was scrapping, so that'll have to be fixed soon. Anyways, I didn't wanna waste my money and time so I figured the best way to get better was seat time, even if it was on super shitty street tires. Please don't laugh too hard at the times. These were with super shitty all season tires. I couldn't get traction to save my life. Plus, I haven't raced in 13yrs. Any who, here we go.

1st pass ever:
.33 RT
2.73 60ft
7.38 330ft
10.19 594ft
10.80 1/8
73.88 mph

2nd pass: Decided to launch in 2nd because I spun 2/3 way down the track the first pass. Bogged off the line, held at around 3K at launch.
.43 RT
2.44 60ft
6.78 330ft
9.64 594ft
10.28 1/8
69.78 mph

3rd pass: Launched in 2nd again this time at around 4K. Didn't bog as bad, but when it got off the line, I spun all the way through 2nd, 3rd, and went to 4th and still wheel hopped
.082 RT
2.46 60ft
6.68 330ft
9.77 594ft
10.55 1/8
57.67 mph

So with all this being said, I'm curious if theres anyway way to get feedback even though I was on crappy street tires. I did learn the benefits of preloading the suspension with the E-brake, however on my 3rd pass I was right around the engagement point of the clutch and it started dragging the rear tires. Which I think is funny because it was my best RT. Also, curious why my MPH was so much higher on my slowest pass.

Just wondering if theres anything here that could be used to help me out once I fix the exhaust to be able to run the slicks. Also, if theres any tips for when I do run them. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

since you were spinning so much that is why your MPH is that much higher compared to your other runs. I would look at getting 23x7x13 slicks to help out. Beware the better traction the more likely you will snap an axle, even if your properly preloading the car. Finally remember lower pressure more grip, higher pressure less grip

Stop launching in 2nd gear. You should be able to ease off the line aggressively and still pull better than a 2.4. Go back to 1st gear and ease the clutch from about 4k rpms. You should be able to get to atleast a 2.0 on street tires which will dramatically help ur 1/4 mile time

You should fix your exhaust so you can run the slicks. Launching on street tires is rough.
