Well I recently purchased a 93 Del sol S. Just the standard model. Decided I should try to get up to the track before racing seaons over. Here is my best slip

I'm in Canada, and am not at sea level. I'm quite happy with my time for first time ever racing at the track.

 

get the 60ft down and you will run better not bad for the first time ever

 

never be happy with your quarter mile time!!! you must always go faster no matter what! if you're really into drag racing that is......

 

I was happy because i wasn't expecting lower then 17.7ish.

 

thats awesome.. out drove your own expectations, what are your future plans?

 

Is that street legal?

 

My future plans are gunna be motor swap over winter either B18c or h22 havn't decided yet. Going to do rear disc conversion, hopfully get new paint. We'll see how the money flows in.

Well went out to a old highway and gtec'd the car. Ran 17 flat, definetly made me happy

i wouldnt brag about running a 17 :S

Well to me 17 flat is amazing. It's just the del sol s, not si or vtec. That's pretty much the full potental of the motor.

Yeah the plan is to keep it at the track, but since the track is closed for winter I just wanted one more run before I put the car away.

(BTW this is the first time EVER i have raced illegall, i do no encourage it nor am i proud of it)
