Was searching through Google and totally forgot about this thread. Lol in the end our car lost a total of 200 lbs. Not to mention we went from a fiberglass rear trunk to oem steel, bigger wheels and tires, I'm 20lbs heavier then before, and added a 25.5 certified cage. So acid dipping is deff something to consider

alkaline dipping is very common all over the country.
check google for this process and youll find something close im sure. hell, it even might be down the street from you lol.
pricing changes from place to place. strip clean in santa ana, ca did ours. i was referred by s papadakis as he gets his scion skating cars done there. great place and great service. we even got a atni rust inhibitor on ours for no extra charge.
look to spend from 1200 -1900 dollars. i say that is one cheap investment then spending weeks on end scrapping and grinding all day long. **** that.

rodger, testing goes well for us when things stay together. lol
i have to admit, we havent had the best of luck with the new car. but were making sure we are 10000000% before we take off to etown. that is pretty much the last race we will be doing with this car for the year other then some local races here in cali.
