Default A/F sensor placement in uppipe

Wondering where u guys are placing ur a/f sensors in ur uppipes? My buddy just got done with mine and on my second sensor and now second one is not reading correctly. Uppipe forms alot of moisture in it when warming up so not sure if that could be my issue. Any thoughts???

I killed a sensor too not too long ago. What I do now on my Motec M800 is set a warmup delay so that the engine is warm and moisture is out of the exhaust before the heater element on the sensor turns on. Haven't killed a sensor since then.

i've always turned the sensor on about a minute or so before i turn the engine on. be it cold or warm start, summer or winter. i have about 1400-1500 street/track miles on the setup, and have yet to have a sensor go bad. and as for placement its about 6" from the turbo outlet and about 7 inches from the tip at the hood at a 90* angle (horizontal to the ground )

I have mine close to top of the pipe slight angle back and8 inch from turbine. Works great I leave in and fire car up. Burned one out when sensor was on bottom of pipe. Ethanol makes a lot of water on start up and that ruined sensor.
