electric water pump

Default electric water pump

i have a turbo gsr motor making 500hp and i was wondering if i could use a electric water pump for every day use? Also wheni hook it up would do i run it of a switch or a relay?

I run mine to a switch, (and use a relay also) but i think the pump is only good for like 250-350 hours. its not really intended for a whole lot of driving..

If I had a choice I'd steer clear of electric water pumps for everyday use. Unfortunately I dont have a choice due to space issues

It is my understanding that they are OK for daily use as long as they are setiup with some way to regulate the on/off time. IE: electric thermostat.
