Is anyone using an ek hatch for there all motor drag car? If so what kinda weight reduction have you done and how much does it weigh? Im looking into a couple diff. shells i want to use for my car and havnt seen to many eks.. Please just let me know... Love some pics too..

-that "noise reducing" puddy **** under your seats, and carpet
-the carpet
-door panneling
-inner trim
-side trim
-dash

also take notice to how much weight you save on stuff like suspension mods... regardless of the application most good aftermarket manufactors will try to save as much weight if, and when they can, provided it dosent hurt the preformance of the part, or vehical... weigh it all out, see were it takes you!

youll be surprised how much weigh you can pull from the oddest of places...

 

I run a EK but haven't done ANY weight reduction. Its also all motor. U can check pics at the Nopi Chic class in Dinnwiddie. My best time is 13.02 @ 102. CRVtec.

 

Here's a few pictures of mine. It's not your average EK, powered by an F22, nitrous motor. No turbo for me.
Weight reduction = Gutted doors, gutted quarterpanels, gutted hatch, all interior brackets removed. Aluminum dash, front end chop ready for 1 peice front end, lexan windows. Just dropped the motor in today.

 

I can vouch for this do0sh! ****'s gutted to hell. Keep up the good work craig! wo0t!!
