Can't you just use the Hasport piece? Am I missing something here?

The tranny mount is completely different.

the way i understand it is that the H2B kits use b series mounts, in this case you would need to use hasport's cable to hydro conversion kit for an ef. am i missing something ?

evo mounts are not the same a normal b series mounts. They "appear" the same but are angled diffferent.

1. The Evolution H2B kit DOES NOT use just any B-series mounts.
2. The Evolution H2B Mounts are SPECIFIC to the EVO H2B Kit.
3. The Mounts with the Evolution kit are angled a certain way so it clears the hood at a specific angle.

Why not just use the sonem( I think that's the company) hydro conversion. You actually use a clutch master and resevoir and all lines.

Why not just use the HASport hydro - cable conversion parts??? It has nothing to do with the mounts, I'm shure you can buy it seperately...

It’s not that simple.

To put a hydro tranny it uses a different mount kit as well. The tranny side mount is totally different.

Evo mounts were designed specifically for the ef's so that it angles the motor for better hood clearance,

So Evo will have to design a new set of mounts and include parts for the cable to hydro conversation

Just buy the Ef kit and then the cable to hydro conversion.....It dont matter which why the tranny mounts as that kit only affects the way the clutch is put into use not the way the tranny is mounted

the way i got around using the evo kit on a EF with a hydro tranny is by using a ys1 outer housing with a b16 hydro inner housing... works like a charm!
