I'm kinda anxious to see what you end up with Chris. Every 044 I know of has a 18mm female inlet. The ebay ad says 14mm... And most of the Porsche models they specify this as a replacement for is incorrect. The correct pump would be the 979.

 

good thing you noticed that, i was about to order fittings. ill hold off on that now.. hope its just a typo.

Swing by, if it's different than a "real" 044, I'd like to know what the fakes flow.

 

luckily they didn't take payment yet i just bought 2 real ones. for the price of these 2 lol paypal account is now drained.

Its pretty amazing how close they look ,,,,,,,, but a fake is a fake

 

this issue came to head a year or two back, some people on this site were slingling the bootleg 044's if I remember correctly.

Best price I found so far for genuine 044's is $175ea

Everybody on this site use to ***** them out for $250 until I guess they realised Titan had been selling them for $190 for a long time, now the prices are $190 lol

My shop is on 117 ave and 120 street... This guy says he is on 117 ave and like 160ish.... i can travel the 5 miles and check the place out.....
