I pay 170.00 for a 55 gallon drum of E98. I will never buy race gas again until they actually charge what the crap is worth. lol!!

I purchase it in Idaho, being that you are on the east coast you should find somewhere closer. You should not pay more that 3.50 a gallon for E98. I pay much less that that obviously.

I also have the formula to break down e98 to e85 so you outlaw guys can run legal fuel for certain events.
Could you inbox me the formula?

I know its cheaper and makes your engine run cooler, but ethanol is all new to me

E98 is pure ethanol, Ignite 114 is a proprietary blend of ethanol and other components. I'm sure if you called them they could be more specific...and if you go to SEMA or PRI I believe they exhibit there as well.

I will be ordering ALOT of E98. If you are that close to Chris im sure he can line you up with some, but you are more than welcome to get in on my buy. I plan on stocking the stuff since our closest E85 pump is 3.5hrs away and alot of people around her want to run it.

Could you please pm me the information of the place in Idaho you get your fuel from? I'm in the process of switching fuels and looking for places close to me.

Been thinking about trying out the ignite as well, then again have been tossing around E98 too, or just getting a 30 gallon drum to fill with pump E85, that way I can use it when the pumps are still E70 (which seems to be until late May around here).

Trying to weigh the options of each though. I know with E98 I will need new injectors, E85 I can keep the same setup as I have now, and with Ignite, I am just worried about the cost. PTE wants $315+tax for a drum of E98, which breaks down to about $6 a gallon...

I can pick up a 30 gallon drum for $75, and fill it with E85 for $93... seems like the best course of action at the moment. Would love to be spraying on E98 though...

That seems a little high. How are you buying it? Gallon or barrel?

There was a tax credit on ethanol that ran out, and was not extended, so the price of all ethanol will most likely be increasing. I'm in Idaho and get E98 by the 55 gallon drum. If anyone wants to check on shipping I may be able to help get some drums out to people.
