Wow, Shep is back racing again huh. I think its been a couple years from the last time ive seen him do any passes. I know he still builds incredible stuff but havent seen him run lately.
Good to see he's back. I wanna see a mid 7 from that car.

The car is supposed to make some full blast runs at the 19th annual DSM/EVO shootout in Ohio this weekend, supposedly shooting for a 7.5 second pass.

His first pass today was the craziest thing i ever seen.. i was like HOLY **** hes moving superrrrrrrr fast to the point where i was like damn WTF. Damn thing wanted to yank tire mid track then it got loose...make a long story short.. i talked to him and jason (pro efi tuner)after the run and the car saw 70psi and a 150shot at that point in time so that explains the SAVAGE mid track burst ...looked like it got shot outta a canon.....technically thats like 1800hp WAHAHAHAA!!!!!! SICK
2nd run ...........lauched so hard i think the earth got knocked of its rotation....then something let loose.....
so glad hes back i miss being crazy with him at race days and more importantly its good for IMPORT DRAG RACING......its coming back HARD

It was a very good event ,way better than the last couple of dsm shootout's(cause the last couple of years have been crap IMHO). All the way up until the quick 16 final ,where while waiting for the final they let time trials run and some one oiled the track they went to clean it up ,and the two guys that are in the final decide that they are going to split the winnings and not race, the excuse that was given was that they are brothers and don't wanna run each other and didn't want to keep people there late and didn't wanna risk breaking there cars. Most gayest **** I've ever heard at track over the loud speakers. Other than that it was a great event.
record amount of people this year. it was wayyyy better than last and a couple prier thats for sure. another bonus was the it wasnt 98 out like before. i actually enjoyed it big time this year and im bummed its over
there was TONS of modding going on all weekend **** was breaking left and right...yusuf broke reichen broke etc.. fixed it broke it fixed it broke it.....so glad i have a honda during this weekend!! ahahahah

There were more oildowns and breakage than I've ever seen at the Shootout yesterday. I almost felt like I was at Atco. As long as they give the track the "Friday night test and tune prep" that they like to give, it's gonna be worse next year. I couldn't believe how bad the track was. Jesse's car is decisively faster than his brother's but that's no excuse to save their cars and split the winnings. People wanted to see the two fastest Quick 16 cars race for the big prize in the final. Buschur should have said, "No run, no money". Definitely not what the crowd wanted to see. One of the crowd favorites at the DSM Shootout was a...........RX-7 rotary making licensing passes! And another thing: I couldn't BELIEVE all you people sitting on the wall of the track as cars were going down.....I mean, seriously? You'll NEVER see that at any tracks around here. I had a lot of fun, got a lot figured out with both of our cars, and can't wait till next year's 20th Anniversary DSM/Evo Shootout!

The red and black auto talons are the cars that made it to the finals and didn't want to race each other
