Default dragstrip

does anybody know of any dragstrips open for test and tune in socal? i checked on yahoo but i only found bakersfield 1/4 and irwindale 1/8 but bakersfield is too far and irwindale is only an 1/8. i called pamona but they said they dont do test and tune anymore. thanks guys!

believe it or not, you can learn alot more than you think in 1/8 mile.... after that its just hitting 4th, not much to do there but hold on.

^^^^^^^^^^Yeah what he said. I learned how to launch, set up a car etc at an 1/8 mile track. The first 60 ft and 330 ft can influence your total trip down the track more than the last 660. Take that 1/8, learn what works on your can and school the competition,

There is a 1/4 mile track in Fontana.....they have street legal events that you can race in. But they are not as often as Irwindale. Check the california speedway website for the dragstrip schedule.

i've gone to irwindale a handfull of time but i wanted to see what my car does in the 1/4. ill definatly go to the 1/8 more often to learn my car better. thanks
