VX wheels w/ 155-80-13 tires?

A 155 tire is about 6 inches wide. I believe that is wider than most skinnies. The VX wheels are very light though. Is this for a race car or street car???

Im sure skinny's would be more beneficial than the skinniest street tire. Weather the benefit is worth the price you would pay for the skinnys is dependent on setup and/or budget.

Richie Gibson (JDM Cars) has been running them on his car for a while. He said they were actually lighter than skinnies! We've taken some DOTs well over 150 that were h or lower rated.

How high of psi have you guys tried on those tires?
Definitely an awesome budget setup.
I wonder if 12" wheels from a festiva have a 4X100 pattern?

how much do your real deal skinnies weigh?

also i wonder how safe these would be driving on the street? obviously terrible if i were to take turns quick, bust easy driving and fast straight line...

I ran them too... Very effective, yet cheap....

If you have 900lb drag springs, and 155-85-13 tires on the rear, dont drive on the freeway...

I run CX steelies (same size as VX wheels) with 175/70 at 60 psi. I drive to the track with these wheels on, but at a lower pressure 30-35 psi.

Plan to get VX in the future.

For those with 4x114.3 (Accords/Preludes, 96 JDM ITR), you can use these Mazda RX-7 15x4 wheels.
