anyone running or heard of anyone locking there diff DIY style like some of the the drifter boi's? if anyone has.. how is it?

you could weld it it's been done plenty in the past, but I dont recomend it.

 

Do not do it... A friend did it to his car and obviously that thing would hardly turn. It would pretty much bind up and the car's tires would keep chirping over and over as it jumped around from him trying to turn it.

also welding it , isnt legal in the race classes

 

Ran the CircuitWorx Stage II driveline (spool) in Duc's EJ forever ago and that thing was not fun on the road... 10 point 90 degree turns at intersections, etc.
