if you guy are pissed be pissed at me i am the one that got it going....i was mad because i needed to do that to mikes car so if the trans needs to come out of the car you don't have to pull the motor out, i called nhra and they said noway!!!!its not Kenny's fault he is just trying to do the best he can like i try to do for the guys i am helping!!!!so I'M SORRY KENNY....so i think the rule need to be change and everyone needs to be updated on the nhra site or on here so this **** will not happen.... the thing nhra needs to know is this sport is not full of old guy with money that can change there car every year to keep up with there changes they don't have the money so they go and do some thing Else.... i hope this make cents

The post was started with good intentions and did get out of hand, HT has had a lack of drama lately. Like Pat stated, we just wanted some clarification on rules

Mike, please don't take this the wrong way, but the only one that can answer the legality of a racecar is the friendly staff over at NHRA. If you have a questions about legality, send them an e-mail w/ a pic of the subject in questions or call them.

Trust me, I did this when we built my car. We took the car over to them and they told me that people would complain about the way we were going to keep it unibody, so I ended up having to full tube the damn thing. Took my $8,000 roll cage to much higher grounds, something that we had to absorb. You know what I mean though, don't yell out to everyone that your friend has a buger in his nose, discreetly tell him and we can all move on much smoother!
