cagnazzi couldnt afford to race without evans cash.

 

So is this a permanent thing, or just race to race????

 

I wouldn't imagine it being permanent he gave a good charge at the end of the season last year for the championship. The kid has lots of potential and it would be a shame to waste it on the sidelines.

No doubt, he is one of the best drivers in Pro Stock IMO.

It's just weird, I would consider him not racing as "NEWS" and yet I can't find any info about it???

 

Don't know what to say about that. I am sure it has a great deal to do with money cause Pro stock is expensivew to run considering the competition you have to keep up with

 

It's hard to race pro stock without a sponser...

 

It just goes to show you that racing is a privilege not a right!

Dave Connolly appears to have been reinstated into IHRA competition. As a matter of fact, he's down in Immokalee running Quick Rod at the Pro-Ams and the IHRA Sportsman National. Peter Biondo won Super Stock yesterday in Immokalee and runnered up to former champion Michael Beard in Stock on Friday. Division 1 racer Chuck Rothermel made it to the semis yesterday in Super Rod, after going to the quarterfinals on Friday. Looks like this year's sportsman classes in IHRA have gotten interesting.


And Dave actually drove a super comp car at most races last year ALONG with the pro stock. And I believe his dad runs super comp also???

 

Can we get an official POWERade thread with all these related topics for threads?

 

i was actually thinking of a Powerade event thread. For every event, we have a thread talking about that event, then its locked after the mon-tues after. This saves clutter, but also, saves hassle of people not wanting to read through 20 pages near the end of the season.
