Instead of the MSD Crank trigger that they offer for the 8 Cyl, which will require a need of removing two out of Four Magnet that occurs every 360 degree of Crank revolution. You can use the Honda TDC sensor to fire the Igniton box, which there is a 4 tooth trigger wheel for every 720 degree of Crank revolution, and that will be 1 tooth per firing which that is what the MSD Igntion box is looking for.(Same way of how the Fast ECU, DFI GEN 6, and 7 when picking up a Ref signal) The color of this TDC sensor is Org/Blue, and Wht/Blue and that goes for the Distributor from Year 1988 to 2003 Honda Civics. Just beware that the MSD Ignition products does not recognize the Multi-tooth Crank sensor that is on the Honda distributors, and that goes for the Fast ECU, DFI GEN 6, and 7 as well.
