Make sure the box isn't to close to the ecu and triple check the wiring.

I am having almost the same issue with the CPR setup on my car. I'm not getting tdc code but it won't rev past 6.5-7 rpm. It would also shut off the engine when I launch hard or when shifting. Another dist will usually fix it for 5 -6 passes then back to breaking up again. I have gone through 4 dist and miss 1race because of it.

Installed mine a while ago and had no issues. The only thing i could say is make sure all your wiring is good, make sure all your pins are tight, all your solder joints are still holding, inspect the sensors inside the dizzy, make sure there are no interferences with the cpr box.

i had a same issue ...it turned out to be when i wired it up i spliced into the 2 wires at the dizzy , instead of using the suplied pins...so the factory igniter was still hooked up in the dizzy....unhooked all the wires going to the igniter and took the igniter out of the dizzy and the issue went away....not sure if this will help or not...

the ingnitor is out
my tuner did all the wiring i dropped the dizzy/rywire harness/cpr kit off with him and he soldered it all togather according to hondata.

this thing just doesnt seem to be able to find tdc for some reason it throws the code, and brakes up.

i was using a metal nokya spark plug cover and screwing it down so i took it off and the car seems to start alot better(easier) now so i just ordered a rywire coil hold down, and 4 s2000 coils. im thinking i might have cracked some of the other coils with using the spark plug cover. the coils are very tough they crack easily

the box is about 6" from the edu but i can unmount it and relocate to see how it goes i guess

cleaned it off before putting it on the t stat housing

we think its the distributor not being oem that is causing the tdc error i took a chance on it from ebay and my tuner thinks this is the issue now.

ill get an oem from the junk and set it up
