yea cmi was dead...the fast 8 was a bullshiet class... it would be more exciting if the field had 8 cars and there could be more competitive than a 4 car field....what kind of shiet is that?

Because the cut off was 11.5 or 11.6 and there were some that were barely there, but did not make the cut. Also the cut off for the Street Power All Motor class was 12.6 and some came close but didn't make it. I talked to one of the teams (1320 Performance) and they did not even know about the event until the last minute.

So does anyone have the final results?

Well this past event was a new one. There's usually just 3 a year, Spring Jam, Summer Showdown/Nationals, and North VS South. Oh and the Winter Warmup, bu that one isn't a big one. The reason they moved it around was because last year one of the events was the same weekend as a NHRA Sport Compact event at Infineon. Too bad Eric was at MIR for a NOPI event instead of here.

yeah no one was hooking up, neither did my bro. even the M&H guy said the track was crappy. they always prep it for the V8s over at SacRaceway

so my bro finally had time to ran his drag car. busy with school, never had time to run his car, he finally ran it at CMI in sacramento this weekend.

the car has a bone stock LS motor with just a smashed DC 2pc header and injen intake arm and of course he got NAWZ yO! 100shot direct port . 22x8 slicks up front. car had traction problems and sputtered a little ... hopefully after he works the bugs out it can hit a low 12

his best time was a
12.5 @112.39
1.9 60t
.797 reaction hahaha
he ran this time on sat and only ran once on sunday due to sputtering problems and a leaking NOS line fitting .

not the fastest car but we had fun

its not my car, its my bro's. his best time was 12.5 @112.3 on saturday and it was his very first time out with this car. he never really got the time to fine tune it to make sure nothing would go wrong. saturday went really well he ran about 6 times. 14.5 all motor stock LS very first dry run. then he used the 100 shot through the rest of the day and hit 12.5, 12.7, 12.7, 12.8, 12.6. sunday it sputtered the first run and then he found out that there was a leak in the nos solenoid fitting, then since it was leaking he had an empty bottle, everything just went down hill from there haha so he said i'm done.

Yeah John, thanks for the help with our problems. It seems on of our slicks slipped the sealed bead off the rim. Hopefully that is all the problem is. We will find out later this week.

Warren, you definintly have one of the best looking drag imports out there. Not to mention the fastest. The 10's are knock'n. This guy does excellent tin work!

I would like to take a min to thanks Chris Hanamoto of sinister racing for loaning me his street motor for this event... This is a perfect example of what power to weight ratio could achieve.. this was a 11.5/1 compression motor with mild head and skunk3 cams.. we dynoed it at 217lbs @139lbs of torque... we got it to run in the 11.3s all day at 120 mph.... this race could of been anyone's race as all four qualifier where in the 11.2 to 11.3s ... it would of been sweet to win with a street motor but we feel a little short in the first round against javier of erick racing.. 11.32 to 11.34...till next time...

yeah he was running 103 mph all day but he couldn't hook up. He had some really shitty 60ft .... like I think 2.0 all day and he couldn't figure it out in time.
I think he said he is gonna go for one of your Traction Bar if u can hook him up with a player price
yeah man your race was sooo close and we got it on tape. Can't wait to see your ETs with your race motor! hmmmm.... maybe 10s
