CLUTCH!!!!
What clutch you guy's using for drag racing on your Boosted B-series setups and what flywheel. Im looking at the spec mini twin and the exedy twin. I like the pedel stiff and touchy.... What you guys recomend running Gt4088r on a sleeved 85mm gsr on 35lbs
this issue has been covered but i will offer an answer.
psi and hp isnt really an issue.
its tq.
but if you plan on preloading and generally abusing the drive line, the twin is the way to go. twice the surface area and heat dissipation.
i dont have any exp with the spec mini twin, but installed many super twins on gt500's.
but i do have an exedy twin in my car. requires no pedal stop. i like that clutch. and had great luck with it.

Rockin the exedy here! You sound like your running almost the same setup as me. I have been beating on my exedy twin for almost 2 years now. Joy riding on the streets, driving it to the track, running high 10's, and driving it home and it's still going strong. I'm runnin a darton 84mm gsr. Was on a t3 60-1, but just installed a new mani and gt4088r. Thing should be BADASS!!!
EXEDY FTW, don't need a bump stop!!

I guess I don't know how you would "over engage" a clutch. I'm having problems with my comp clutch stage 5 sprung, and wondering if this might be the problem I'm having with it. At high rpm, full load on a turbo car, it acts like it doesn't want to engage and having problems going into gear. On a side note, could it be a flywheel problem?

I was one of the ones that brought this problem to his attention. My clutch is a stage five 4 puck, and was perfect in my car. I transfered it over to a friends car and it's been nothing but problems in that car. Just wondering if this clutch stop would help alleviate the problem. Also what would be the difference from his car to mine.
