Claying a motor

Default Claying a motor

I need to check valve to piston clearance on my new setup. What are the correct steps in doing this? I have clay, extra headgasket and a metal mm measure. Thanks in advance. Rob

So when do you thinks its necessary to clay your motor?LIke what kind of c/r and cams would you be using.
