so i'm cruisin' down friars road, which is in san diego, around 3 p.m. today. i just came back from the movies and i'm goin' solo, on my way home for the rest of the day. finals next week ya know. anyway, the speed limit is 45mph and i'm doin' my usual 50-55 mph in the left lane (only two lanes). i'm passin' all the slow old folks in their cadillacs and kinda weavin' just for the hell of it. then all of a sudden i see an eclipse in my rear view mirror. i was in the mood to have some fun, what with just comin' off 2F2F at AMC. so the eclipse speeds up to about 60 mph or so and i let him go past to see what he will do. it's some guy with slick backed black hair, and he's wearin' some ******t sunglasses and smokin' a cigarrette. by this time we were comin' up on a police station so we both looked at each other and slowed down to 45 mph. there were no cars in front of us and the ligh was red cuz the trolley was goin' through. i was in the right lane and he was in the left. when the trolley went through and the bars went up, i gave him the nod, and we both revved. not too smart in front of a police station, i know. bu hey. i'm 16. that's wut i'm supposed to do right? anyway, he was completely stock, so i figured if i got a good jump on him off the line i could probably take him, cuz i knew the road really well. so the light turns green and we both take off. i boost it to 5,000 RPM's and go from 0-30 mph in like a second. i take him off the line by about 1/4 of a car length. he's speedin' up pretty quickly so i downshift to second and gain on him a little bit. he has an automatic so he floors it. it takes his car forever to acelerate so i go into third, fourth, fith, and just completely take his ***. as i sped off at about 120 mph i flashed the hazards and he gave me a way. don't ask me why. it was all in good fun though. we're lucky we didn't get caught though. if anyone is readin' this and ur from san diego go to the spot i'm talkin' about, where we took off, and you can probably see the tire marks where we both peeled it. just though i'd share my story with everyone. peace.
