Default chute mounts/chutes/pull levers.

looking into the mounts, chutes and levers. what cable and lever kit are you using and do you like it, some of this stuff looks real cheap.

what brand chute are you using or have used.

thanks.

Is there a reason the handle is always on the ceiling? Seems like there would be better places to mount it.

the lever I have from S&W is tiny and flimsy. Wheen it comes time to put one in, I'll just make one.

the chute mount isnt doing anything but holding the pack on the car. its the tether section that gets the force. if you are not happy with any of the kits, build your own.

When a fwd requires attention to the wheel two hands is real nice to have. I would look into the co2 cylinder that throws the lever for you. You just push a button on the steering wheel. My new car has this on it. Stroud has chutes specifically designed for fwd apps and any of the top chassis shops like Tim Mcamis, Bickell , Rj should have a beefy billet arm. They rape you for them though.

That was my reasoning behind wondering why its on the roof. It looks awkward and time consuming to reach. When you need a chute there isn't any time to think. Of course this is coming from a guy that has never pulled a chute before. Lol. Just an observation from watching YouTube videos

It's no secret that Miller and Tom parted ways, CMR is up and running and last time I was there to buy parts so was NRGtech which is ran/owned by Tom. I have one of those levers made by Tom and it is top notch excellent quality, a little bit on the high side in price for its purpose but you get what you pay for.
