Just wondering how the turnouts are at cecil county test and tunes. How many runs can I expect to get in? Thanks, Brian

 

I heard that the test & tunes are usually good for 4-5 passes. Last Sunday @ cecil I only got in 2 runs due to an accident but, even w/ all of the heavy/super cars it still moved pretty quickly. When are you going Brian?

Hey Brian, hopefully one of my crew guys boostdependent or boogiedown brown will see this post. They live around the corner from Cecil and know the ins and outs of Cecil really well.

From what they have told me in the past, you can get as much as 5 to 6 passes on t&t.

 

A bunch of us are going this upcoming saterday the 20th.
If you show up look for a Red Supra on Welds,Black Evo,White Wrx, Stop over and say hi

 

very clean track, hooks petty well. i dont mind the hour and half trip to go there

 

how is the import tune out there i want to get some track time in before the season is over with just got my car running getting it tuned wensday. see if i can get it into 11's

 

Cecil TnT isnt that bad. Like most have said sometimes 4-5 runs....lately on wed nights ive only been getting 2-3. I havent been there on a Saturday, but I believe its a pretty good day to go with the track opening early in the AM and running all day long.
As far as track prep goes....well, lets just say I always had better 60' times at ATCO. Its not terrible, but there is better tracks in the area to work on your short times with.

 

Normally WEDS. Nights are ideal to go, but since they are about to close for the winter Hump day has been getting packed. Saturday will be the best to go and showing up early in the morning will get you 10 passes easy. then in the afternoon when they start doing their teack points bracket racing you'll get about 4-6 runs after that.

I know the track owner personally so i can make sure i can get you guys well accomodated if you need anything. Hopefully i can get the PARADISE RACING COROLLA up there to show them V-8's how we do it( HINT HINT)

 

Yeah I'll be there. Where was everone at today? I never see any hondas at cecil county. Actually i was the only one.

i think most people get the impression that saturdays will be like a friday night which is the suckiest and worse time to ever go if you are trying to race. on fridays you'll only get 1-2 runs and if everything is running smoothly 2-4 if you get there early(5pm).

 

Actually I think they are done on wednesday nights for the season, I may be mistaken though.

 

Go on SAT. you will get as many passes as your car can handle. I've been on Sat. Its usaully roundie round.

i believe you are correct about the WEDS nights.... i think i was just making a statement on how weds. are just for future reference. but thanx for the heads up. i can call JIM HAWLSEY and find out whatever you guys need to know. thanks
