8.044sec pass Street Tire Turbo Integra 1/8mile
first race is me against a aaudi turbo with slicks and as you can see it didnt help him whatsoever and the second race is against a 6 seond eigth mile built 5.0 mustang.
first pass 2.077 60
5.6 330
8.206 eighth
94.5mph
second pass 2.045
5.4 330
8.044 eighth
93mph
all on 195 50 15 street radials falkens
gonna try to break into 7s with street tires.
with a 8.4 i get a 12.6 to 12.7 quarter so with the math my new time is like a 12.2 to 12.4 quarter with street tires
first pass 2.077 60
5.6 330
8.206 eighth
94.5mph
second pass 2.045
5.4 330

lol you guys are tripping. i was just trying to post my new personal best with street tires 195 50 15 size. you guys should be saying congrats or no comment at all. if you guys are real drag racers then yall are some stupid ***** if you thought a fwd car can do a quarter mile in 8.0 with street tires. and honestly man common sense dont require much thinkin so dont bring up the math mumbo jumbo. your over-complicating stuff. the title said 8.0sec pass on street tires. common sense might not tellyou its an eighth mile but it definitly tells you its not a quarter. if i broke record with street radials you would get at sears tires then all honda drag racers are the dumbest people ever

8.04 isn't a bad time for the eighth on street tires for starters. Work on your shifting and throttle you may get into high 7's then. Always gonna be someone that hates your threads. I thought the title meant 1/4 mile also. But considering I was doing the same times and high 7's without the turbo back in the late 90's early 00's(full interior, daily driver, street tires) in the 1/8th.

And people wonder why this sport sucks for the most part...dude comes in to the DRAG RACING section to share his DRAG RACING story only to get flamed on hardcore. I personally don't care if he runs 15, least he is out racing rather than talking about it. How many of you seriously came in here expecting an 8.044 on street tires in the 1/4? If you did than you are pretty damn dumb considering guys on 26's are just now dipping down to those lows. Its not like he didn't post it was 1/8th mile in his original post either, all you had to do was read that far and click the little arrow on the left up top of your browser/ rant!
OP stick with it and get that thing down into the 7's on street tires. The funniest part about this is 1/8th mile and before is the most important part of racing, smh

its not that people are bashing your setup, people (like myself) came in here wondering about another 8.0 1/4 mile run.. I saw street tires and i read street car....
Then you get defensive and start being a dick to everyone.. challenging them and calling them out..
I think its cool you run on street tires, is it for me? No... I think its kinda pointless when you can throw slicks on for the TRACK and make your car faster...
maybe you think that its cool to "run what you brung" and race it like you drive it on the street... whatever works for you..
and I couldnt honestly even tell you what an 8.044 in the 1/8th would compare to on the 1/4, so I cant really even relate to the number..

^^^lol. we should just all get along. i was just simply sharing a video that i recorded with my gopro that i hardly ever use and turned to this flaming. and to topdawg. i didnt really call anyone out other than that one dude and i wasnt even serious if you ever thought i remotly was lol. just chill guys relax, grab a beer, and watch my video if you choose to. if you dont want to or have negative comments then just get the hell out of my thread and go watch other crazier youtube videos. im totally aware that my car isnt the fastest car out there and neither are any of you guys. i dont think any honda will ever be close to holding that title in the drag racing world. EVER. unless honda makes a fuken big block v8. jeeez

there is no reason to drive through the water box or burnout in it with street tires. just slinging water everywhere and getting your tires wet.

I honestly think there are some outlaw cars who could go 8.0 1/4 mile on a street radial. Either the 315 MT or even the new 275 pro which some guys are hooking better than the 315 which is a 30" tall tire and wider than the slicks they're on.

Re: 8.044sec pass Street Tire Turbo Integra
Thats my timeslip of my very first turbo setup on my SE-R, T25 at a measly 8psi of boost on Falken 205/50/15 street tires. Drove 3 hours to the track and back home.
Went back with some 22" slicks in the trunk, threw them on and did 3 12.4 passes @109-110mph
60ft: 1.81
1/8: 7.98 @ 87.3mph
1/4: 12.44 @ 109.51 mph
Oh look at that, a sub 8 pass, oh btw, still on a t25 turbo at same boost as the street tire run. LMAO at the slick comment. I later upgraded to a t3 60 trim making 460whp and I could put every bit of that power down on slicks. Never ran it on street tires but i did run it on 22" slicks once and went 11.3@130 on 22" slicks, went back during hotter weather and went 11.1@132 on 24" slicks. 100+ deg at the track.
You make no sense. When people say your car is slow...its slow because they are used to alot faster passes. Nobody wastes time on street tires anymore when DR's or Slicks are the way to go. Going on street tires is just a big waste of time. I know my car was not the fastest compared to many others on here and im sure if they would waste their time on street tires, low to mid 7's spinning all the way down the track would be done many times. Again, not on DR's I know many other se-r guys that have ran on DR's and went 11.3-11.5 in the 1/4 on 225/50/15 bfg's.
