There is also an AEM Class and a MOTEC class going on in less than two weeks in NJ.

So if you decide to stick with the AEM, you should come up to that class and learn some more.

If you decide to go Tony's route and get the MOTEC, you can come to the MOTEC class and learn about that instead

http://efi101.com/schedule.php?cat=EFI&country=USA

Look at that class schedule for more info and pricing.

the class says aem motec combo. does 895 include both classes or is it cheaper for just one class?

Check each class individually

AEM - $345 alone (sept 17)

Motec -$595 alone (sept 18)

Or the combo (both classes) like you noted

Nope you have to always sync it.If you save the maps and load them each time you switch you would be fine also. So you only have to do 1 time

the motec m84 isnt a bad deal...but the aem is like 1100 and you can get a full race harness for around 2200 thats 3300...and you can use all of aem features...

but the motec is 2800 and then after a full race harness your talking about 5k....

for someone who has this sport as a hobby not a job...spending 5k on the engine management is alot of money...
right now my goal is 950whp on my turbo build but dont want a cheap engine management..so far aem v2 is the number 1 choice but motec m84 is also been considered...what i like about the motec is that you can even run it under water and you can use it on any 4 cylinder not just a honda...

m84 is expensive but if u ever buy another 4 cylinder ie evo,s2000,scion frs, sti, all u need is and adapter harness and u can run it with the same ecu...

btw joe how big of an intercooler can u run on a jdm front? i remenber the jdm teg from tempest back in the day...im gonna run jdm front on mines and dont want a 3 piece front..

here is why im asking, tony mentioned just buying 1 m48 and running it in both my street car and my race car. well a m48 isnt going to happen for a while. so i bought 2 T1 triggers and im going with k series coils on both cars witch are both turbo sleeved b16. almost identical setups. so if i tune both cars on 1 aem and save both tunes on my laptop it will save the sync settings of both triggers and both tunes without having to do anything but plug it in and load the map per what car im driving?

my integra had a 24x12x3.5 on it. you have to modify pretty much everything to make it fit, but it will work
