burning out
I recently tried to do a 2nd gear burnout, but nothing happened. I've done 1st gear burnouts, so i know my tires will smoke.
This is what i did: 1. Pulled the e-brake up
2.I revved up to 45k and then 5k rpm
3. dropped the clutch and nothing
Can someone help me out with this one? Plus it on a b16 crx if that helps any.

drag radials or slicks?
if radials, then have about 12-14psi in them
as u come thru the box slightly tap the throttle to cover the tire w/water
only pull thru the box about 1foot or so
set ebrake
bring rpm up to 5-6k and slip clutch to full
bring rpm up and to from 5-7k while turning wheel left and right
when u feel the car starting to creep forward let go of the ebrake and give her one
last rip forward not too hard but enough to drag the sticky tire forward out of the
water if any is still there......
wih this method i was ablr to pull 1.71 60ft with bfg drag 225 65 15 at 12psi
also wih drag radials the less the tread the better......
hope this helps
