Default BRE's NDRA car in progress

Just thought I would post up a few pictures of how my car is coming. As long as everything keeps up good. I'll be able to make a race this season.

These pictures are a few weeks old. My computer wont let me download the new pictures, freezes every time. As soon as I get that figured out, i'll post the updated ones.

The roll cage is the only thing that I wont be doing. I have done everything else on the car. This engine will only be used for the time being until I earn more money to build the second one (meth) as well as transmission and axle upgrades. I plan on making the NDRA@Rockingham event.

When I finish a couple customers cars by next week i'll be ordering my one piece front end as well as upgrading the axles and finishing the cage.

I will update this post tomorow with more information.

thanks, as soon as I get my computer to read my camera again, i'll put up some updated pics. I will also be fabricating a manifold that keeps the curves to a minimum, and the compressor inlet is facing forward.

Are you planning on keeping the stock fuel rail?

I like the wiring! Did you buy the wiring like that, or twist it yourself?

The fuel rail, complete fuel system will be upgraded for the next engine. It will be running off meth.

I did the wiring myself, I have also put in the same thing on a few street cars.

Just ordered the aluminum seat so it can be mounted to the cage. Should all get done this weekend as long as everything goes good.

race car not show car

i've done wiring like that and it makes it 100x easier to work on. looks good, im guessing you're building it on a tight budget? what are you expecting time wise?

Yea, well as long as I keep getting work on other cars. I'll be good on my car. I'm still in highschool, funding comes from working on my customers' cars. I plan on mid-low 9's with the next engine. With the engine rite now, either low 11's or high 10's, whatever 22-25lbs boost will do.

I still need to get wheelie bars and suspension.

Lexan the windows.

one piece front end as well.
