Blown Power Steering Pump
I drive an 05 Accord coupe EX-L V6 auto stock w/ aero kit and was just pushing my engine on an open strip after coming back from a 400 mile weekend road trip.
Hit 120 and was content and slowed it back down and drove home.
Next morning I noticed a loud repetitive noise from the engine and popped the hood, sounded like the drive belt.
Next day or two the power steering started to go while noise continued.
Mechanic says pump is dead and belt is fine.
Did either the 400 miles in 24 hours or the 120mph kill the pump?
