The Comp T/A's suffer from design when tire size is small. The "grip" strip is extremely small, while larger Comp T/A's have a considerable strip. The G-Force T/A was designed with the smaller tire sizes in mind... this is why the smaller Comp T/A's are discontinued.

I ran on 225/50-15 Comp T/A's for over a year and did fairly well. 2.0's like clockwork, but only dipped low 1.9's a few times. A good friend in identical car got 225/50-15 G-Force T/A and they are 10x better/easier to launch on. I would definitely recommend G-Force T/A over Comp T/A.

I went with a 215/45/17 for temporary. Saving some pennies for some g-weights and ET Streets, but for this weekend the Comp T/A's

figured they got to be a hell of a lot better than my potenzas

big enough?
