Default Battery Switch Issue

I have the battery relocated to the trunk. Running 6 gauge from starter to OEM fusebox, and then 2 gauge from OEM fusebox back to a distribution block. Off the distribution block I have 2 gauge to the kill switch with a 100 amp fuse and then a straight 2 gauge to the battery with a 100 amp fuse ( I set it up this way because it's still a street car, and I only need the kill switch for the track. If I pull the 100 amp fuse on the kill switch, then there is no power to the kill switch). I ran the alternator directly to the battery using 6 gauge with a 60 amp fuse. Problem I am having now is that I am seeing 14.3 volts at the alternator but on the alternator wire back at the battery I am only seeing 13.5. Should I switch to 4 gauge on the alternator wire? I've attached a quick diagram.
