Does anyone know whats the proper way to burn out and stage with an automatic transmission?

More info needed there bud. If it's a bolt on Teg or Civic running street tires you don't have to burnout and just prestage, stage, and punch the gas. You can hold the brake and give it some gas to pre-load the tranny but make sure you have spares if you plan on doing it often.

did that in a impala rental car a few years ago.. it made a wierd clanking sound.. lurched forward.. and then died... then it drove fine after that... haha
