So all you guys who are using the rd1 as your gauge cluster... Do any of you have something setup for fuel level?

There's a fuel level converter available that converts the sender signal to 0-5v for just that purpose.

There's one for an integra clock area that houses a regular sized TVII.

Interested in picking up one of these but have a few questions first... Is there any delay in the system? Like if you tap the accelereator pedal and RPMs come up, but it takes a split second for the data to update on the display... I know we are dealing with nearly 20 year old ECUs, so I dont know if they are quick. Im an auto tech and I run into that problem alot when trying to view OBD data on some vehicles.
Also, is the update rate adjustable? like... 5-10-20fps etc..

Anyone have troubles getting the rd1 to communicate with a S300 V2? I had a customer switch from ectune to s300 and the rd1 does not read data. Rd1 is set to s300. I have tried two different rd1's and two different s300 to rd1 usb modules; still nothing. Works fine on ectune. Is there something in the hondata software?

Re: Anyone using Tunerview? Post'em!
i bought an old dash off ebay and there was a trim plate inside the dash that i took to a local fab shop and they cut out a couple aluminum sheets for me on a cnc laser cutter. the trim plate was a perfect template for them to copy. i also specified the square hole. cost me $70 i think for two. plan to sell the other one. its for a 3g civic dash. they have the cad file still and said they could make more for me. as far as mounting goes, we'll see if it holds up. i used jb weld to secure 4 nuts to the underside. feels super strong but i'm curious how well it will hold up in the car... if the car ever gets done haha

Here's two examples I found with revving involved that have pretty full screens.

How are these in the sunlight, is the glare bad enough you can't see it at times or do they have a decent anti glare screen?
