Its a weld in kit for $312.

I have no idea how I would go about welding it outside, and fitting it, or welding it inside the car, but it does look like a good design for not a lot of $.

And the price seems on par. I think I'm going to order the first one I posted, and If I can't find a way to weld those dash bars on, I'll just run the 6pt setup.

be prepared to spend alot on shipping..i.e. $100-150. You may still want to look into having someone local to you do it. Brian

After all of the expenses are said and done you are going to end out spending quite a bit on this cage. Like Bryan said you'll have to pay for shipping, then you'll have to have someone install/weld it in (unless you are able to do it yourself), and like Miller said kits never seem to fight quite right. If you do decide to go this route I hope that everything works out for you.

Try this place out.....I had alot of luck with fitment in a hatch, supra, and GTI. Plus the price is right.

I just recently did a artmorrison (if your is going to be faster than 9.99 make sure you order the NO DASH option) cage (the first one u posted) The fit was good just had to cut everything to length and notch the tubing . Shipping was 110 to VA. If u have any other questions feel free to hit me up.

Agreeing with Brian u could probably have someone in your area do a cage you could look into both options

I put this same cage in my car, they are in washington, shipping to PA was $80. No the cage didn't slid in like most people expect it to, they give extra so you cut to fit it to your car. IMO the cage is a nice kit if you know how to put it in.
here is mine from a long time ago....
I do have to say...as much as i didn't want to cut a hole in the dash to run the 9.99 cage, i opted for the "dash option". If I had to do it again, I would just cut the dash and run the no dash kit. The bars around the dash fit real good tho. again... as long as you don't expect it to "fit in right off the truck"

with most sanctioning bodies, rollbars are required to be 1-3/4" .118 wall low carbon (mild) steel and up while cages are 1-5/8 .118.

if its 1-5/8 and you omit the front legs, you might get snagged for improper cage materials t tech inspection. if your car is fast enough to require a full cage, i think you should be over the full dash by now. try getting that dash out in one piece with the cage legs in if you decide to be competetive later on.

cutting the factory dash or sticking to a 1-3/4 rollbar seem more sensible. if you get faster later, you can always add 1-5/8 legs.

Nope Cunha has a Full Chromemoly Cage, custom done by a guy in our area... back in the day when he first cracked 11's and he didn't wanna put a bar in the car but the track wouldn't let him run he getto rigged a Autopower Rollbar and welded on a 5th point.

Alot of those cages that you order and install i think would have a hard timing getting 9.99sec nhra certified

Hrmm, Since I can not safely say whether or not I will be shooting for 9s, I might as well see what available options are in my area.

I can install one of those kits myself, but I know the 9.99 second option would be a PITA.

Thanks guys.

I have one of the AME full cages in my CRX. Worst decision I have made about my car yet.

It was designed for someone who is about 4 feet tall. I have not made the alterations to the cage so I can move my seat back yet, but I fear that it has to be moved so much that the entire cage will have to be redone. After shipping and installation charges, I could of had a custom cage fitted for the same price.

If I could do it all over again, I would definatly have a custom cage made.

We should have some bolt in roll cages/roll bar soon avaliable for the 88-91 CRX...check back often at http://www.mazworx.com

We use the actual vehicle to make the first one, jig it and its totally bolt on.

Here is a picture of one for the 94-01 Integra

Bryson--

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I think what we're going to do for our cars down here is buy the cage kit from http://www.kenskustomchassis.com/ and weld them in. Sam could do that for you if you'd like for a nominal price. I'm down here every Wednesday if you'd like to stop in and talk to us about it. Ken's can build the cage kits per application. You want to run 9's? He can do it no problem. Give me a call or stop in any Wednesday here at the shop.

Chris
