should i be running lower times???

it was in a gsr swaped hatch, with stock dx rims....spinning like a bastid (2700 launch)

it was at Wilkesboro raceway park
uphill...slick...full of rednecks

 

there is no point on racing on street tires. get some cheaters or some slicks. they will lower your 60ft times alot!!

 

i'm fully aware of the dynamics of drag racing....

these times were last season, i just found my old log book from when my hatch was basically a stock swap

the reason i ask is because my mph is a lot higher than every body else who runs et.s in my vicinity

i'm just curious because the times are HELLA slow for what i should be running, and i'm 3 or 4 mph better than anyone that has hit the same numbers i have

i guess i should run at mooresville to get a real number......

yeah u should b runnin faster. in my 2500lb coupe i was runnin low 9s at 74-75mph.

 

your trap is higher, cause you are spinning your tires too much and making your time worse, if you used better tires, you would have a higher trap and higher et.

 

obvioulsy....that's why i mentioned that ealier...

i am just trying to figure out what kinda et i should be bringing with that mph

this season, my car is totally different....it's boosted, built, ad running slicks

i never got a clean run on the stock car before......it ways 1975 w/me in it
