Default Another question regarding suspension setup?

Looking to buy a good setup for my EG. I am wondering what most of you SFWD guys are using? I already searched and have only came up with Skunk2 drag springs, which I am not interested in. Omni Power's drag setup which seems okay, but I don't seem to see a whole lot of people using it. I already have used Ground Controls with my selected spring rates with race valved Koni yellows and like it but would like more adjustability. I am considering the Progress units but people seem to not be able to afford them so I can't seem to get a good legitimate response. If someone can give me a solid answer I would appreciate it. Thanks to you guys in advance.

What rate springs do you have now (front and rear)?

300-500 fronts and 900-1100 rears should work fine with good shocks, a front traction bar, and good 24.5" slicks. I don't see why you couldn't cut at least a 1.6x with that.

I am also loking into this for my DC.

I WAS going to go with the the Strange double adjustibles with hypercoils, but if I can find a cheaper alternative that will work as good as or close to , Id go that route.

I have 10K in the front and 16K in the rear of my GSR. I love the setup, but the adjustibility of the Koni's isn't enough for me. I don't mind spending money, but this is really for a street car, so I don't think the Strange's are going to be needed.

Tim are the D2s in your hatch, and if so what kinda 60fts do you get with them. Another question of note is what are the spring rates?

all the people that recomend and run omnis for drag...

what spring rates are you running?
and is it a track only car?

I currently have omnis and i have a pair of 8k, 10k, and 12k springs and im not sure what combo to use. Car is DD and a drag car running mid 11's. Its a CRX so its fairly light so i dont think i have to go crazy stiff. What do you think would be good but still streetable/safe to drive on the roads?

Thats around 560/900 and with the Koni's you should be good. What 60fts are you getting now? Do you have a traction bar? What size slicks? You'd probably be better off keeping the shock/spring combo how it is and spending money elsewhere to go faster.

Wrong info listed on my part, I have 900lb springs in the front on my Ground Controls and 1200lbs springs in the rear on my Ground Controls. The Ground Control/Koni setup I am talking about is in my GSR. I have an EG I am working on. I get 2.0 60fts on ES100s and I also have a Full-Race traction bar installed on my GSR.

DturboCivic I am not shitting on my setup, and if people in the road race/suspension forum get mad, oh well. I like the setup, it's really nice for auto-x and is a good setup on the strip. I also spent like 1000 on the re-valved Koni shocks. I figured I would see what would be good and if possible cheaper. If I need to copycat the same setup and use it on my EG then I will. I figured I would gauge the information I could get.

I plan on picking up another Full-Race traction bar for my EG as well, and swap all bushings out. Will adding or deleting a sway bar on the car help me as well?

Tim, I will make sure I stop by to talk to you at HondaDay, your going right?

Cornerweighting is going to be the last thing I do, but it is already on the list of things that need to be done before the car gets driven around
