If I were running a dog box Im sure the traps would be in the 180mph range.
.
You've been 8.3 on a stock tranny? That's impressive!
You think you'll pick up 15 mph going to a dog box?

What kinds of gains are you guys seeing with the big wings that are seen on these cars lately? I have a spare trunk lid and I'm thinking about making one for my coupe.

That's what a lot of the guys in the dsm world are switching to now. They seem to hold up better and more consistent.

The trans is almost all stock components with upgraded Borg Warner discs and some chryo work on shafts and baskets. Of course shifting mods are done on the valvebody to make it live in a 1200whp environment.
Been Dog Box and never will go back to those POS's ever again. Im still running the same converter purchased 4 years ago for $700 and a trans build is only $400 my cost, **** you cant even get a clutch for that let alone repair a DB if anything goes wrong. Not to mention I'm still running the same STOCK NAPA front axles bought several years ago. I'm not saying this is the holy grail but it works for me. Now let stay on topic for the OP.
