Well We werent really helping Brent out We were just taking him a fresh motor From Marco at Magnus motorsports and stayed to watch the qualifing. I must say the imports really made me proud and I wish I could have stayed to watch the whole event. Plus I wasnt too cheap to text you back I sent you a whole bunch but I guess you didnt get them all lol.
#2 spot, awesome.
To be honest I didn't think the SC guy's could keep up in the 1/8 mile.
Is it possible for the FWD guy's to hang in the Low to mid 4's?
That's a lot ot ask out of what 153 cubic inches ?
BTW we're both at work, this overtime is tuff...

it is going to take a lot for the FWD cars to qualify -- the bump spots have been in the 4.7-4.8 range lately for the 16 car field in Extreme 10.5 -- the FWD cars seem to be consistent in the 4.9 range so they are in the ballpark -- just need to get over that threshhold
either way -- being there is half the battle so i give a lot of credit to Gardella and Hunt's teams for making the races and putting on a good show

I don't think the car will fit any of the rules. Extreme 10.5 needs headlights.
May be next year, if someone talks to them, they could add a class ?

i think with some testing during the off season that they could come back next season and qualify in the last few spots.

I'm pretty sure that in the article that Innes posted recently it said that the ADRL had the SC stuff on their radar since we were shut out by NHRA/NOPI

yes, headlights are required in the 10.5 Class -- you can easily mount something on your car with some creative thinking...that wouldn't be too hard
i wouldn't get too jacked up about ADRL adding a Sport Compact (S/C) class -- ADRL has built a great thing with their outlaw type racing, huge fan attendance and lately huge car counts trying to qualify for fields
the latter is the worst part about S/C racing -- car counts suck and even though everyone always says they are going to do this and that to race a full series it doesn't happen with S/C guys 90% of the time -- it is unfortunate but the truth
i would hate to see ADRL commit to some sort of S/C class only to have 3-6 cars show up for the events -- that would be horrible for all involved.
