Default adding abs sensors for traction control

hey guys. im planning on trying the hondata traction control system, i have an integra ls which did not come with abs. im just wondering if anyone has added the sensors to the front and back on a non abs car. are the ls castings the same as the gsr? is it as easy as drilling and tapping a couple holes and adding the sensors? or would i have to replace my front spindles and rear hubs?

For the fronts you can just drill the holes. The rears i think you can drill the holes to but i swapped my rears to abs trailing arms

You can just drill and tap. The casting is there for them. I just added ABS stuff to my RS integra. Youll just need the hubs with the pulse rings in the rear and axles with the rings in front.

ok. so i need to switch out my rear hubs for abs hubs and drill and tap trailing arm. then on the front i can drill and tap the spindles. i have dss axles they have the abs rings on them. then i should be good to go i guess.

curious how well you found it to work. im using it for a 650 700 whp street integra. ive seen some videos where it seems pretty harsh. then others where its really smooth. is the acceleration 100 times better>?

It all depends on how you have your settings. A lot of testing is needed.

Lindsey, you will need to install 1 front and 1 rear abs sensor. Since you already have an integra you should already have abs sensors. YOu'll just have to wire them in. Hondata has the wiring diagram diag online.

An LS should come with the abs sensors stock unless the person you bought it off of took everything out...like crucian said, a lot of testing involved to get it to work correctly

No matter if it has it or not all the correct holes will be there on an LS. I have OEM sensors off a 2000 LS if you're in the market BTW.

Rear abs hub and non abs hubs are different. You will need a ABS rear trailing arm.

Parts fiche lists exactly ONE rear trailing arm style for 2000 Integra LS... and it's ABS equipped. Just sayin. His sig says 2000 integra soooooo... if it's for sure an LS it has the right RTAs

I sold all my Hondata Traction control stuff. Really can't use it in first gear even at the lowest setting, it is just way too harsh.

Maybe for street use it will be a bit better, just not worth the money for drag racing in my opinion.
