Why not just gut them out and put up plexi glass for windows? Are you gonna gut out the whole interior?

pretty much but im making it a street pro car, ill still beable to drive it on the streets if i want to, thats why im looking for these doors, cuz i really dont feel like caring around a drill so i can remove the driver and passer windows all the time. it would just make it easyer.

Oh I see. Build a stronger motor to compensate I guess. I'm not sure where to find carbon Fiber doors though. Sounds mighty expensive if they exist.

I don't think anyone makes them. I wouldn't be concerned about it though. I wouldn't even worry about plexiglass. Glass isn't that heavy.

you cant not use plexi glass in race car cuz its not safe to use

you have to use glass or lexan windows in a race car

The glass on the hatch has to weigh more than 5lbs?

IF you want a full functioning door, get a JDM door, its much lighter than a reg US stock door.

Same with EF doors from Canada.

Not sure about all years but my 88 doors are much lighter than "USDM" doors.

I run lexan with a swiss cheesed OEM hatch. It's much lighter!

I'll weigh it and snap some pics if someone weighs a stock one for me. I always run it at the track to help with weight transfer.
