Brent was pulling the wheels that hard. funny thing is he kept adding lead to the front to try and keep it down. The track was hooking like a mother F++++++er.

Hats off to Norwalk staff for awesome track surface.

to the Camera man filming these videos. He probably has the most ***** standing so close mid track while filming this video. That car looked as though it could have really went for the wall. Rau gets alot of respect for the way he drove.

Technically, his chassis was built in the US. (I dont think his chassis shop is outside the US. )

He may not have been the first, but he is the quickest and fastest four-cylinder doorslammer in the world.

Yes, Brent Rau, in his OSOFAST 2.0L Mitsubishi Eclipse, is the QUICKEST and FASTEST 4 cylinder CAR in the world. And it isn't a full tube car.

What car was you looking at???????

Its definitly full tube chassis. where is the strut towers???

NHRA must think its full tube chassis or else he wouldn't be banned to race the car in NHRA modified.

He doesn't have the oem frt shock towers is the biggest difference. Everything else about the car is a modified car.

what!!!!! besides the fact that its a steel bodied car and not a fiberglass and carbon fiber.

bottom line its a tube chassis car with a steel body. and its only a modified car because NOPI says it is. if you look at a pro rwd car and Brents car....doens't look to differrent to me. if you look at Brents car to Justins car or Pauls car or even DEE's car.....IT JUST DOESN"T LOOK THE SAME. The modifed calss always has there own interpretation of what a "modified" car should be. thats why there is sooo many different style chassis cars in this calss because there is nothing specific.

Like i stated in another post abou....there are 3 different types of "modified" cars

1) Back Halve Chassis 2) 3/4 Chassis and 3) Brent Chassis

Although I love what Brent did for us Import 4 cylinder drivers, he IS NOT the fastest. Lingenfelter went 199mph along with the 6.99 et (Brent went 198mph). Brent's car is a full tube chassis car with the body set down on the chassis, along with the stock floor and the stock firewall.
