Default 600hp question

i tuned a car last week and the hp level was 601whp and 355 ft lbs of torque! the turbo were using is a t72, 84mm ge block, arias pistons, manley rods. my question is why is my torque so low? i run a act extremely heavy duty pp, 4 puck disk that is about 4 years old. if i change to a twin disk setup will this change my reading on the dyno?? any help would be appreciated! here is the dyno sheet

last year this setup made 588whp with 350 ft lbs

excellent idea, tell the guy to give it more timing when you have no idea what he is running for timing right now. some of us like our cylinder heads to stay planted against the block

26.5lbs of boost, timing @ 26.5 psi is about 24ign... hot side on the turbo is unknown the owner of the car would know!

I have the B18c 84mm bore with a innovative T72 turbo also but it seem to me that you might have a big A/R turbine housing. Your turbo seems to be a little lazy according to your graph. The graph never flat lines....meaning it hits target boost and holds it there. The sooner you can get it to spool up. The more torque you will make. I make 540 Wheel Torque @ 38 Psi.

A T72 seems to be a little big to only run 26.5 psi...crank that thing up!

Is that a stock GSR head? Has it been ported/polished? That is where you will see the torque numbers increased from.

Over then that, you can see the VTEC reverberation at about 5200 RPM. You could lean that out a little bit, or pull more timing right there (VTEC window), this will heat up the exhaust gas and help the turbo spool a bit quicker.

You could also drop it down to 20 degrees at about 26 lbs of boost.

Hey man, the guy was just offering to help, he has a good dyno, and tuning experience. Just because your car is faster doesn't mean anything more than you can drive, or have a better setup. For your jackass comment, you get a kick in the nuts. If you don't want friendly help, I guess you're in the right place.

Torque is so low because that dog-*** turbo is spooling up so much later than your torque peak that you're not getting a chance to make anything. Run more boost, and ditch those godawful crower turbo cams and watch your torque jump.
