ok guys, i did a lil resreach on my past 1/4 times and noticed all of my 60' times were 2.4 and above@! my best run was at 15.4 with a 2.420 60' time. its a 97 Prelude SH btw. when i ran my car the tires were liek BALD and my clutch was pretty much DEAD. i was wondering if the 60' times woudl affect my time and if so how much? how can i improve on the 60's? i noticed when i went back to teh track about a month later the 60's were worse due to the tires losing evne more thread by then. also, i have 3 runs where i ran a 15.8 and had a 60' of 7's and above!!! that confuses me on how it was so high but ran a whatevr 1/4 times. i ran at LACR which is a horrible track aiwht a 5600 elevation. i believe the track had some part in it so this time when i get my es100's tom. i am going to go to fontana and run it there. i have a brand new clutch wiht 500 miles on it and my brand new tires tom. i have gotten a lot quicker since then due to driving and konwing my car better so i expect a lot better times. how can i improve my 60" was the clutch and the tire a part of it?? i usually launched around 5.5k's at the track. now iwht the tires, a lil higher prolly, actually i'll give 5.5 a try then 6 and up trying to adjust to the track. im looking at high 14's hopefully and lowering my 60 to 2.1 maybe. woudl that help my 1/4 time a lot? thanks guys. oh yea, those runs with teh 15.4 and all were back abotu a year ago and haven't been to the track for about 8 or so months. im quicker now, brand new clucth, and tires. btw, back then my friends prelude ran a 15.3 and i ran the 15.5 average times, and out of the track i ran him abnout 18 or 19 times and took him by about a car lenghts. how come track he did better, but outside of the track, i have owned him?
