Ok guys... car weighs 2150 with driver. 7K rpms = 498whp after at 8K rpms = 520whp, and then 9K rpms = 540-560ish all the way to about 10Krpms where power drops to 550ish...
car usually LOW LOW 1.6s 60ft.... sometimes 1.55-1.59s..@480whp...now it has about 80whp more...
26x10x15 with Type R 96 tranny...

well i can tell you for a fact that a 2300 lb dsm can do 9.6 @ 14ishhh but this car was able to cut 1.3 short times... i know that hondas can cut those short times cuz i remember seeing a timeslip of lisas old hatch and she was cutting 1.3's..

2150 with driver is pretty light. unless you are really skinny...lol. With that hp I would think 9's are obtainable. The whole discussion of having weight reduction and 400 hp to hit 10's, you should be in there...or at least really close. Good luck though!

Why don't you just take the car to the track and find out . That will be the
best way to see if the car can do what your looking for . For a person to build
a full race car , I asume you have , run the car already !!!!!!!!!! No one one H-T
can really tell you what your car is capable of but you and the car itself .

The car is capable of running nines but it is up to the driver and suspension setup that will allow you to run nines. Power numbers are just numbers. Try taking the car down to the track and see what it will run. Don't be dissapointed with 10s or low 11's. Just learn how to drive the car and times will come with experience. If you plan on running 9's be aware that alot of tracks will require you to have an NHRA license.

I seen Leevon Eisele in his 96 HB @1900lbs run 9.30 with 528HP It is all in the set up and suspension I would look into some good suspension it will help alot.
daves a rip off. i got his old b16 out of his car. he was supposed to sleeve it. didnt do that. instead it is the bullshit pinning in the water jacket. almost a year to get the motor, and when i got the head it was missing to cam caps. i might be able to have it lined bored but wtf. i didnt order half a head and a pinned block......... o and he built my friends ls/vtec was supposed to do a valve job on his head that he sent to him. well got that motor in the car and on start up it bent a valve, o wait he never replaced the valves. and the motor was full of metal shaving. he says that who ever is putting the motor in should have it hot tanked and clean it. that bs. he just wanted to get my money.
