14.4@101 ?
we took the ls-t back to the track last night and still cant get in the 13`s.Where making around 250hp at 10psi. My ? is no matter if i trap at 91mph or 102mph my 1/4 was still 14.4 14.5 14.7.I made about 5 runs and lost 1 bolt out of the 3 on my 14b so that ended the night.Im still working some bugs out with the car but i figured with 100-105 traps i be good for 13`s high or low didnt matter to me.Do i really nd to run slicks with a stock ls at 10psi?Its all in a 94 eg full interior if that matters.I was told that it wont hit 13`s by many and just for myself would like to prove many around here wrong
To sum it up do i need slicks for 250hp (10psi) to break 13`s?

How much air pressure do you have in your tires? What kind of tires are you using? 4 tenths is a good chunk of time to cut into, but it might be possible. What rpm are you launching at?
I just have the stock 13`s atm on the front or i could throw on my 17`s.The tp is at 25psi and i have bfg brand tires .i know thats most of the problem and i really should have a 14 or 15 atleast.My turbo and ls swap broke the bank and i have 17`s rs limited or stock steelies.
I dont launch the car at all,i kinda just ride it off the line,or it will just sit there spinning.bogging has never been a problem.I did the burn out for kicks last run and had alot of wheel hop off the line.
should i look into some cheap 14`s or 15`s street tires or just get some slicks

i ran 14.01@98.9 mph all motor......got any traction bars? lsd? what kind of motor mounts do you have? you have enough power..traction is very important

You ran 14.4 without slicks. THat's actually very good!!! Invest in slicks and then you will be a happy camper. For example:

Get some slicks, they will get you in the 13's. Additionally, LSD and motor mounts and mount inserts will hep in aiding traction and getting the power to the groung on slicks as mentioned above.
Got a NA B16B with a best of 13.360@94mph on 22" slicks on 13" bogarts, no interior.
250hp is that to the wheels. If so, should be able to pull low 13's with slicks, lsd, mounts, and traction bars, suspension.

i went 14.5 @ 105 on a 1.68 60ft last friday.... O yeah, i wound out 1st, some of second and then stuffed it into 5th highway cruise mode. HAHAHA.

thanks alot for all the help/pointers.I do have hp mounts but some shitty coilovers the front was loose and the rear i keep stiffer,the car is in no way dropped at all.im going to look into traction bars and keep trying.Also im going to see if i can get some stock 15`s to toss on the front and see if that helps any.my bro got alot of runs on vidio so ill see if he has them and ill try and post a few.
the car is 250hp at the wheels also for who asked and tuned by ****.im going to have my map touched up a bit and a little more boost added,just waiting on my tial from terry at boostfed,have a deltagate atm

I got the same problem w/ my GSR shooting 75shot of NOS. The tire won't bite and I end up spinning the tire on 1st until I hit 2nd than it when. Original 60ft was 2.32sec but with slick I hit a 1.95sec. Best time 14.39@103.1mph at Bandimere Speedway elevation 5400ft. Ohh yeah upgrade those puny, weak *** drive axles, They snap like toothpick under pressure at launching. I finnally went turbocharge. I wonder what does a 243whp turbocharge GSR does at sea level? Any Idea any1?
Driving skills obviously come into play here too! You should actually be able to cut those 60's down if you pushed the car. Either invest in a bigger rim/tire combo or launch that bitch like a man in second gear. Don't be scared to launch just don't do the usual Honda idiot/ ricer move and dump that rattlebox at 6 grand. Remember to preload the **** out of it.

Hey guys I am in the same boat. I have a GSr with 275 fwhp at 10psi and my best run has been a 14.1. although I do not have nothing when it comes to traction...no inserts, traction bars, lsd, or drag radials. I plan to get some Lcon traction bars and motor mount inserts and hopefully I will hit the 13's. Next, move will be BFG drag radials. My friend of mine told me about this guy who has a fully built GSR running like 18psi and he is doing 11's on every pass with a open diffrential, on street tires, and no traction bars. Good luck and keep us posted as I will do the same.
Your trapping at that speed because u do have a fast car. Tire or no tire you need to launch better. You should be able to pull at least a 2.1 60 without radial. Good luck, try taking that turbo off and running all moda
your trapping mph for low 13's high 12's....the 2.4 60ft. is killing you bad...get a better or bigger tire on the car and that thing will feel like a different car man...you get down to a 2.0 60ft..and you'll see mid-low 13's...get a slick on the car and a suspension, get a 1.8 60ft. and you'll see high 12's for sure...
